My intent with art is to represent life with rich, intense, and pure color, blended softly and harmoniously. The concept here being to reduce our complex "reality" to the barest essence, thus magnifying its fluidity. I hope the viewer will find the result of this endeavor to be bold, exciting, fresh, and enjoyable.
And now... the official "Biography," (written in the always popular 3rd person, of course!)
Steve starting winning local contests in childhood which eventually led up to a scholarship at the renowned School of Visual Arts (S.V.A.) in New York City. Since then, he has expanded his skill set and is concurrently a business manager, avid investor, writer, visual artist and musician. Steve's art reflects these varied interests and attempts to convey an appreciation for life through color.
